Twice she served with the late Errol Hanson, first as club secretary in 2002-03 and then as division secretary in 2006-07. In 2015-16, Roxanna served as Lieutenant Governor for Division 23 in the Florida District of Kiwanis International. During Roxanna’s year as club president, the club was honored with several awards including first place in Builders Club, Interclub Relations, Key Club Outstanding Sponsor, K-Kids, and Public Relations. Since leaving the position as president Roxanna has remained very involved with the Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes, as interclub chair, Public Relations Director, and president’s advisor. Special Committees: • In 2008, Roxanna worked on the International Guests Host Committee for the 93rd annual International Convention held in Orlando • In 2013, Roxanna led the team that planned and executed the official opening event for the Kiwanis Center in Lauderdale Lakes • In 2014, Roxanna led the team that worked on the adoption of the new Lauderdale Lakes club bylaws, and • In 2015 Roxanna again led another team to plan and execute a local celebration in Lauderdale Lakes of the 100th anniversary of Kiwanis International. • In 2017 Roxanna was successful in the application of a $25,000 grant from the Florida Panthers Foundation to the Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes Foundation on behalf of the Kiwanis Clubs of Broward.
